Who are Alpha Tanks?

Alpha Tanks was established by Eugene McGinnity and Fergal Cleary in 2004 and is located in Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland. We offer a full design and manufacturing service for a range of steel tanks, pressure vessels and bespoke fabrications. We also manufacture dished ends in carbon and stainless steels. At Alpha Tanks we have a tradition of forging strong and enduring relationships with customers who trust our skilled workmanship as well as the consistently high standards of service they receive.

Certified to ISO 9001:2015 and with many years of specialist engineering experience, Alpha Tanks has grown steadily to provide a comprehensive design and manufacture service to a number of major engineering companies.

Other services supplied include pipe welding, stainless steel fabrication, painting including specialist internal coatings, site installation services and NDT inspections. Work at our 60,000ft2 factory is produced by a team of skilled, time served tradesmen including coded welders.

We manufacture a range of shop built process and storage tanks, in both carbon and stainless steels. Our range includes cylindrical above and below ground tanks, rectangular, single and double skinned, bunded, sectional and framed tanks and many more. Our In house design, draughting and 3D modelling capabilities together with a range of modern fabrication and finishing equipment, allows us to be self sufficient in our tank and vessel supply. Industry sectors supplied include Water/Wastewater, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energies, Chemical, Dry Bulk Storage and Minerals & Mining.

We also manufacture CE marked pressure vessels in accordance with European Directive 2014/68/EU (the PED). All vessels are bespoke and are designed to meet customer specifications with independent design verification, inspection and certification by a Notified Body.
